The course (download PDF) will introduce the field identification of the major groups of plants found in the UK. It will teach the field techniques necessary for the identification of the different plant groups and their recording (including voucher specimens and photography).
Fred Rumsey is one of the leading field botanists in the UK and has written many articles on UK botany for both popular and scientific markets. Fred is currently the Botany Identification & Advisory Officer working from the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum.
